Five Years of Measuring the Business Impact of Learning: 2021 Survey Results

This year marks the release of our fifth annual Measuring the Business Impact of Learning report—and it’s certainly a year that has provided plenty of food for thought.

While many organizations have spent considerable time and capital on pivoting to deal with the COVID-19 crisis, there are plenty who have found a path through a troubled year, assisted by key insights in their learning measurement programs.

This year, we reflect on the clear direction of travel of the last five years and offer practical advice and case studies that will help your organization tackle three key challenges revealed by the data.

To date, this joint report, authored by LEO Learning and learning analytics platform specialists Watershed, has surveyed 1,700 participants on topics ranging from demonstrating learning’s impact to the biggest measurement challenges facing their organization. Commentary is provided by Piers Lea, Chief Strategy Officer at LEO’s parent company, Learning Technologies Group, and David Ells, Managing Director at Watershed.
